He made his way to Shanghai and Beijing, China, where he produced, directed and edited TVCs and corporate videos for various agencies and clients, including Volkswagon, Audi, Du Pont, Nestles and Lion Nathan.
In China the lesson was self-reliance and innovation despite the parameters … valuable tools to have on board for a career in television.

Jeff has been living in Auckland, New Zealand since 2000 where he has worked extensively as a freelance television editor, director and cameraman.
His work has included editing weekly magazine shows (in particular Television New Zealand’s “Asia Down Under”), various corporate assignments (Fonterra, Telecom, Villa Maria Estate), and in tandem with his wife and business partner Jane, making two thirteen part travel documentary series (Destination New Zealand I & II), Air New Zealand in-flight programming, and documentary coverage of the annual New Zealand Alpine Ski Racing competition.
Most recently Jeff has poured his energy into an independent project filming and editing a six part travel/cooking series based in Marrakech, Morocco with television personality Peta Mathias.
